SCHLEIFENSACHE II
Schleifensache II is the next step in a collaborative process by mutual loop (Martina Tritthart and Holger Lang), in which an intuitive approach to a spatial situation is addressed. The unusual spatial setup of the ASIFAKEIL is related to conceptual projects, some of which resulted from previous projects of mutual loop.

Licht-Rauminstallation im Sternstudio 27. 9. – 14. 10. 2018
Die installative Arbeit von Martina Tritthart basiert auf den Grundprinzipien der Optik und der menschlichen Wahrnehmung, die sie in Relation zum jeweiligen vorhandenen architektonischen Raum immer wieder aufs neue infrage stellt. Die Werkschau „All the colours you like!“ präsentiert drei Lichtarbeiten, die die Phänomene Projektion & Schatten, Reflexion & Interferenz und Camera Obscura behandeln. Neben Licht- und Medienprojektoren verwandeln sich drehende dichroitische Gläser den Ausstellungsraum in einen immersiven Erlebnisraum.

Die temporäre Lichtintervention wurde eigens für einen Fußgänger- und Radfahrerdurchgang am Wiener Praterstern entwickelt. Die Künstlerin projiziert zwei sich überlagernde visuelle Ebenen, die bewegte Worte und Formen beinhalten. Die Texte nehmen einerseits Bezug auf die gegenwärtige Situation am Praterstern andererseits reflektieren sie Stimmungen und Gefühle. Lesbar werden sie innerhalb der von den Passant_innen generierten Schattenbildern. Im Spiel mit dem Licht ergeben sich immer wieder neue Text- und Form-Kombinationen.

Das ortspezifische Lichtkunstwerk wurde eigens für das Turmzimmer der Andreaskirche in Hildesheim entwickelt. Unmittelbar unter dem Glockenstuhl, wird die Polyphonie des Glockenspiels in einen Bewegungsraum transformiert. Das ästhetische Raumerlebnis mit seiner spezifischen Licht- und Klanginszenierung steht im Mittelpunkt. Es bildet ein Spannungsfeld zwischen der Stille des Lichts, das synästhetisch reich an Klängen ist und dem Glockenklang, der seinerseits Farbtöne sichtbar macht.

YellowBlueYou
Licht-Rauminstallation im Sternstudio, Mayergasse 7, 1020 Wien 31.3.2017 – 29.4.2017
In der immersiven Lichtinstallation YellowBlueYou generiert die jeweils vorherrschende Lichtfarbe das Raumvolumen und die spezifische Atmosphäre. Das monochromatische gelbe Licht im ersten der beiden Räume ermöglicht ein gutes Kontrastsehen aber außer der Farbe Gelb kein Farbensehen. In dieser gelben Helle befinden sich Spiegel und ein raumteilender reflektierender Vorhang für die Selbstwahrnehmung und die Verortung der Besucherinnen und Besucher. Der blaue Farblichtraum erinnert an ein kinematografisches Erlebnis. Die im Raum umher wandernden Schatten stammen von den Besuchern und Besucherinnen selbst. Sie kreuzen sich, überlagern die Videobilder live aufgenommener Schattenbilder und verdichten sich zur Finsternis. Sie sind Bestandteil einer sich ständig ändernden abstrakten Komposition, die zugleich das faktische Befinden im Raum und die subjektive Befindlichkeit darin bewusst machen.
